    Sustainable Material

We take pride in our pride as we use only pure cotton for our kids dresses (exclusive of Pattu Pavadai which uses silk cotton). Cotton is a natural sustainable material, it requires less water to produce than other fabrics, and it breaks down in a shorter time frame.

    Hand Block Printed Fabrics

Block printing is unique for several reasons. It is an ancient and time-honored printing technique that has been passed down through generations of artisans in the small village of Bagru, Rajasthan. The use of intricately carved wooden blocks allows for precise and detailed designs. Resulting in exquisite patterns that are one of a kind.

    All Natural Dyes

The printing process also employs natural dyes, making it an eco-friendly and sustainable method of textile production. The dyes used derived from natural resources such as soil, plants and vegetables.

Who we are

Natyamama is a premier store featuring high quality sustainable pure cotton hand block printed kids and adults clothing as well as cotton dance practice sarees for Indian classical dancers.

We have adopted an absolutely no plastic policy. We use 100% pure cotton material – no man-made fiber at all!

The inspiration behind starting Natyamama came from observing the lack of sustainable and handcrafted kids' clothing stores both locally and nationally. Most available clothing contains synthetic materials like polyester, which do not biodegrade and harm our planet. At Natyamama, we use hand-block printed fabrics, meticulously carved and printed by skilled artisans in India. By choosing our products, you support these artisans and their craft.

We advocate for slow fashion, aiming for our unique pieces to stay in your family's wardrobe for years and be cherished enough to pass down to future generations.
